There are handful of new application released everyday. A lot of people would download the new apps, so that they can cope with the newest information. So, it is common for people to have a lot of downloaded apps. They also received a lot of notification regarding their installed apps, such as notification about sales and other important ones. The question is, how creative you are so that can you attract your customer to open up your notification?
1) Welcoming Message
Be friendly with your new user. This is the point where first impression takes place. As everybody knows, first impression is important as it can tell a lot about the person, same goes with a business. The reason of sending welcoming message to your user is to get friendly with them and make sure that they will come back to your site in a future. Also, we always give discounts for the first time user. They would be more thrilled to open up our apps.
2) 'Soft Touch' Message
Many of the user will leave your app in the middle of the exploration. For an example, they will abandon their cart and do not go to checkout process. Or they do not finish uploading their photos on social media. We may not know the reason they do so. So, in order to ask them to finish their abandoned process before, we can send them ‘soft touch’ message. It can remind them to finish their last activities in case they forget to do so.

Many of us do not read the message that sent to us. If any notification about message appear, we tend to slide it off of our screen. Some of us do not even care enough to read what message is about. But, we can capture their attention to read our message. By adding their name and products that they recently browse, they will have the urge to open up the notification as they see their name on it. Many customers would come back to your apps to browse through it again for the second time and many more times after this.
4) Try to Include Emojis
Many messaging apps do have emojis. Emojis can save a lot of space. Besides, emojis can replace some words. Not everyone likes to read a long paragraph as they have such a busy day. Nowadays, people also use emojis to express their emotions such as happy, angry or sad. Emojis also makes the message more colourful and more interesting to read as emoji makes your message more stand out. People will tap your messages as they are attracted by the emojis usage!
5) ‘Thank You and Reward’ Notification
Customers love it when they spend some money on your product, they get some thanks yous and some rewards. For an example, many company offer discounts up to 20% when consumers make a next visit to the store. By sending these messages, it actually can increase your customer’s loyalty. Your customer would wait for your offer after they had visited your store. Your consumer will keep going to your store and your sales will eventually boost up.
